Adhesives (sticky marks)

Soak a cloth in a solution of vinegar and warm water, ring out well and rub over the offending marks. Alternatively, place stain between sheets of absorbent kitchen paper and press with a warm iron then wash as normal.

For bad stains or on fabrics which cannot withstand a very hot wash, dry cleaning fluid can be used before laundering.
